“Today South Africa is a new society built on a foundation of freedom and
democracy. This was fought for by heroes like Fanele Mbali who selflessly gave
their lives away to fighting racial and economic discrimination amongst the
oppressed” said Mancotywa.
“An unshared history will remain unknown until it’s shared. The book documents
Mbali’s life during the liberation struggle together with his cadres, for future
generations to clearly comprehend the life system they find themselves in – total
liberation,” says Mancotywa.
The author’s humble beginnings, perseverance and dedication to a free and
democratic South Africa, has made it possible for the country to say that this is
the year in which we celebrate 20 years of democracy.
